It has been WAYYYY too long since i blogged, but i saw this video tonight and damn near cried it was so moving. Things like this remind me how much i love music. This is so brilliant, i wish i would have thought of it. I'm not gonna give it away, you just gotta watch. Enjoy!!

Yea I was about to get on you about that!! LOL I check the site every few days and I was like man it's almost been a month since he's said anything to us. Anyway, Man That video was amazing and sounded great for what it was. To be done with a laptop and some microphones people forget that they don't need high end gear to just sit and make music. To me that's where the sound starts. Later Ken, I'm re wiring the electricity in my studio so gotta finish before it's dark! Take care!
Ken, thanks for sharing that brilliant clip! That's the way to do it - use some halfway decent but modest gear, get some incredibly gifted, heartfelt and soulful talent, capture it and let the magic show through. I get the feeling it could have been entirely captured with everyone in one huge 'circle' on one terrible microphone onto an old Realistic 1-track reel to reel and it would still send shivers. Ya know what I mean? But, that extra HQ does tickle the ears - we're just so accustomed to it.

BTW...funny how things just 'time' right....no sooner did I read your post and visited Gizmodo to watch that video then just a few hours later while I'm chillaxing on the couch none other than Anderson Cooper (should be a chartered accountant with that name!) and Erica Hill (hubba hubba!) do a bit promo on that very viral video! It was featured last night, Ken. They said you can see it on Gizmodo, YouTube, and now they have it on the CNN AC360 links page.
