Small Town Sleeper Mastered

I went to the mastering session today for the Small Town Sleeper record i produced and mixed. The album was mastered by George Marino at Sterling Sound. In my opinion, George did a great job and I am very happy with the album start to finish, from the songs to the performances to the sonics and production. I was also exceptionally flattered when George said on several occasions throughout the day things like "These mixes really sound great", "Thank you for making my day very easy", "You've all done an excellent job on this record", and "Most of the time records dont come in sounding so good and i have to do alot more". Coming from George Marino, who has mastered everyone from the Rolling Stones, Elvis, John Lennon, Led Zepplin,and Jimi Hendrix to Coldplay, Velvet Revolver, Hinder, Nickelback, and The Dave Matthews Band to only scratch the surface, but you get the idea. It was quite an honor to hear George say those things, and quite a bit of redemption. I'll happily pat myself on the back.

The label (Upper 11 Records) was at mastering as well and was loving everything they heard, another bonus.

Big things are in the works, we'll see where it all goes.
