$20K Dream Studio Suggestions
Hello all. OK, so i need suggestions. I'm writing this article on putting together the most amazing studio possible on a budget of $20,000. I'd love suggestions of your "must have" gear, or your favorite cornerstone pieces. And of course, why you suggest it. List price would be helpful too if you know it. Come on now, give me your suggestions. I don't really know much about the really good budget gear out there. gimme your thoughts.

why? most complete music prod. sofware. very good soft. synths included!

why? good sounding interface
(1224 hiphop/r&b 2408 pop/dance)

why? good for mixing/tracking and mastering. well known for that 3-d image.
tapco or mackie hr824
why? good stereo-field reproduction,
bottom-end for that big bad booooom...
rode or akg mic
why? warm and nice sounding microphones

kobane,producer of 2pac,snoop,juvenile,and other multi platinum acts ......e-mu proteusX($149) yamaha motif rack($1300)..the conerstone sounds of todays and tomorrows hits...R&B/HIPHOP/POP ..so for under $1600 you got all the sounds you need to make a hit sounding product. mpc 10000=$1000..sampler/seq/drum machine
